Outlook 2007 SP2 デスクトップ通知が直った！

以前の投稿で書いていた、Outlook 2007 SP2で、デスクトップ通知が出ない不具合が、2010年12月のWindows Updateで修正されたようだ。

調べてみると、2010年10月末にhotfixが出ていたらしく、それがセキュリティパッチと一緒に配布されたようだ。

ここの記述に、
After an IMAP4 account user or a POP3 account user applies the Office Outlook 2007 SP2, the user configures a rule to display a desktop alert window when certain email messages have arrived. However, the rule does not work
とある。

「IMAP4あるいはPOP3を利用しているユーザがSP2を適用後に、新着メール到着時にデスクトップ通知を表示するルールを構成すると、そのルールは機能しない」


これだ！！！

というわけで、直りました。終了に時間がかかるのは直っているだろうか。。。それは未確認。
